New Record at Jackpot Slot Mega Moolah: 19,4 million euro!
A legendary slot with progressive jackpot Mega Moolah from Microgaming achieved a new record in the amount of 19430723,60 euro winning at Absolootly Mad.
According to Microgaming, the eight-place jackpot was hit last week by a player from Belgium at online gambling platform Napoleon Sports & Casino. This win also coincided with the biggest payment ever in a slot.
John Coleman, Chief Executive Officer at Microgaming, explains:
We are really glad that Mega Moolah made history again thanks to its last record win with such unbelievable profit – 19.4 million euro! This is the biggest jackpot payment in an online slot ever.
From about 2005 mega Moolah was one of the most popular progressive slots online. Currently the progressive network Microgaming paid out 1.3 milliard euro for a total.
Absolootly Mad: Mega Moolah was developed by Triple Edge Studios exclusively for Microgaming. The slot takes the players to a rabbit-burrow in search of gold coins and big winnings.
This unusual slot with progressive jackpot was released in 2020 and is only one among many games with Mega Moolah. For this moment the game brought more than 500000 wins and prizes in the amount of more than 46 million euro at all jackpot levels.
However, players from Germany are prompted to play without progressive slots from October last year, because the State Treaty on Gambling 2021 restricts all kinds of jackpots, as well as provides many other restrictions.
The maximal bet in slots is 1 euro, and the autogaming options are turned off. In addition, there is a five second pause in each game round. After playing for an hour the player should pause for five minutes.
Besides that, there are not any classical table games anymore, such as Blackjack, Baccara, Casino Hold’em and Roulette at online casinos which want to put in a request for getting a german license. Live Casinos are also excluded from the operator portfolio.
That is why many players are searching for an alternative and choose ganvling platforms with foreign licenses, for example, from Malta Gaming Authority (MGA). Meanwhile the partner-companies are pushing for the operators licensed in Malta.
The platforms are using such key-words as “casino without german license” or “casino without restrictions” in order to attract the players who try their luck in slots with progressive jackpots or in Live dealer casino games at Blackjack table.
