ICE LONDON 2021 POSTED TO APRIL DUE TO COVID-19

The world-famous London gambling show ICE London is not expected to take place until next April. As the annual exposition’s organizer Clarion Gaming said on Wednesday that the early schedule change is another forced measure to prevent the COVID 19 virus spreading.
Instead of the planned date from 2 to 4 February 2021, the fair should

take place from 20 to 22 April 2021. The venue remains the ExCeL London exhibition center. It is not yet known which exhibitors will be presented next year.
The first International Casino Exhibition (ICE) in London was organized in 1990 and has been held in the capital every year in January or February ever since.
The fair provides gaming companies, game producers and other industry experts with the opportunity to showcase their latest products and find B2B contacts.
Until 2012, Earls Court Exhibition Center served as the venue for this event. However, as the fair attracts more and more visitors each year, the organizers moved to the Excel London Exhibition Center in 2013, which is more than three times the area.
The decision to postpone ICE London 2021 by two and a half months was made by Clarion Gaming, together with stakeholders. They expressed concern that the corona crisis may not be fully overcome by February 2021.
While ICE London 2020 was marked as an “incredible success” in February of this year, the corona virus has given a guarantee that ICE North America Digital cannot take place in May.
Instead, the organizers switched to the Internet and hosted the first ICE virtual event, which was attended by 2,300 guests.
Keith Chambers, CEO of Clarion Gaming, is confident that ICE London 2021 exhibitors and guests can be admitted to ExCeL again, but there will be a number of restrictions imposed on both exhibitors and visitors.
We can only hope that Chambers is correct in his assessment and the April exhibition will have a great success again.
